The double bacon burger that I had was really good. The fries were ok but the root beer in the frosted mug was the best! Wish I would have ordered the onion rings as they looked quite delicious. My wife had a cod basket that she enjoyed. Overall nice experience

The food is just fine. Sometimes it's just too hot to eat outside here, but sometimes it's just perfect. The wait staff will wait on you for your first order then you never see them again. So order your dessert with dinner. It's a nice spot, you can sit in your car and as well if you like. They do not take credit cards. They take cash and checks, no debit or credit!!!!!! No bathroom, got to use a smelly old portapotty!!!

Everything I've tried on the menu is fantastic! I've been eating from here well over 20 years. I really appreciate that they have elk and bison meat as opinions for all their burger varieties. Best root beer stand around!

3 out of 5 for 2 reasons 1st no real restroom just a port a potty and 2nd they don't accept cards, thankfully we had enough cash to pay when she brought the food for 5 as it is reasonably priced. I enjoyed my Buffalo burger and I like that the bacon is circular! The curly fries had a good flavor and regular fries were average. The fried pickles spears were delicious and outside tables were comfortable even for a large family. My husband's Elk burger was "meh" and son said his corny dog was good. Yummy root beer too!

Great root beer stand! I am in the Battle Creek a few times a year to see family and I always meant to stop here on my way in or out of town but was always on a full stomach. I made it a point this past weekend to stop and at least get ice cream. The parking lot was jam packed, but we got out, sat a table and got immediate service and our ice cream came out immediately despite the crowd. Great ice cream at a great local joint. It is a former old-style A&W drive-in and they still operate as such (if you can get a spot!).
